Meditation - Self-Realization -Yoga - Inspiration - Worship
      Based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda

The Santa Rosa Ananda Center offers spiritual inspiration and support for truth-seekers in the Sonoma County area. Our offerings include meditation and yoga classes, scheduled weekly and monthly meditations, and Sunday worship service based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda and of his direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda.

Worship

Most Sundays include a Meditation and Purification ceremony at 9AM, followed by Sunday Service at 10AM. Sunday Service includes chanting, a short meditation, readings, affirmations, a talk, and the Festival of Light.

Occaisionally, a Sunday Satsang is held instead.. The Sunday Satsang is a more inward gathering with chanting, readings, a longer mediataion, affirmations, and healing prayers. On Satsang Sundays, the Satsang begins at 10AM without a preceeding Meditation/Purification.

Meditation and Purification
After chanting and deep meditation, those who choose to may participate in the simple yet meaningful purification ceremony helping one to open one's heart to the flow of God's grace.

Sunday Morning Service
Sunday Services at Ananda are deeply inspiring and uplifting. Including meditation, chanting, scriptures of East and West, an inspirational sermon, ritual, poetry, affirmations and prayer, the focus of our Sunday worship is on personal, inner communion with God. You'll find your own search for inner communion bouyed by the company of fellow truthseekers.

Healing Prayers

Our local Healing Prayer Circle is composed of Center members inspired to pray for others. Please call the Center to request healing prayers for yourself or someone you know.

The Santa Rosa Healing Prayer Circle is a part of the Ananda Healing Prayer Ministry at Ananda Village. The Healing Prayer Ministry offers healing prayers for those in need, instruction in Paramhansa Yogananda's Divine Will Healing, and an opportunity to apply those teachings as part of the Healing Prayer Council.
