Ananda is a global movement based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, who showed how
everyone can realize God in their daily lives as a tangible, loving
reality. Ananda was founded in 1968 by Yogananda’s direct disciple Nayaswami Kriyananda, widely
recognized as one of the leading spiritual teachers in the world today.
Yogananda’s teachings embrace the truths that underlie all the great
religions. People from all faiths and backgrounds are welcome at
Ananda. We invite you to join us to experience the joy of your own
being. You can learn more about Ananda
Worldwide at www.ananda.org.
The Ananda Center of Sonoma County
offers spiritual inspiration and support for truth-seekers,
including Sunday services, satsangs, kirtans and meditation
classes. The owner of Living Tree Yoga studio, Therese Smith, has
generously offered the use of her yoga studio. This beautiful space
with a glass wall looking out on a peaceful garden has wonderful
vibrations and was built by disciples of Yogananda.
We meet every other Sunday at Living Tree Yoga, located at 216
Benton Street in Santa Rosa. All Sunday Services and Satsangs begin
10:00 am.
Sunday Service includes chanting, a short meditation, readings,
affirmations, a talk, and the Festival of Light.
Sunday Satsang is a more inward gathering with chanting, readings, a
half hour of meditation, affirmations and healing prayers.
See the Calendar for Sunday Service and Sunday Satsang
dates.
